C2K Architecture was chosen to modernize this client's headquarters. We renovated their 25 year-old, 1,500-square-foot office into a light-filled, streamlined space.
C2K overhauled the floor plan and introduced a new conference room, a mix of private and open office space, and unified custom furniture. Desks, doors, and other elements are made of laminated bamboo. Built-in shelves ring the room and display the shoe designs created by our client through the years. In a whimsical move, lasts–the foot-shaped forms used in traditional shoe making—are used as handles on sliding doors.
This project was completed in April 2013.
