San Francisco, California

Currently in design, this new 26-story, 160,000 sq ft residential tower in downtown San Francisco, California, will have 118 condominium units in addition to an owner's lounge, shared kitchen area, fitness room, and an outdoor observation terrace on the rooftop. Due to the small footprint of the site, 106 bicycle parking spots are provided in the basement, along with fully automated parking garage for 13 vehicle spaces. The exterior design of the building is inspired by the nearby bay, using variations in texture and color on a unitized window wall system. The north and south sides of the building imply undulating "waves", punctuated by white balcony edge "wave crests", while the east and west façades bookend the "waves" and recall the cabled structure of the Bay Bridge through vertical gradients on the metal panels.
